Animal Rescue Fund to host Dog's Night Out

On the fourth Tuesday of each month, the Animal Rescue Fund in Muncie, Indiana, hosts an event called Dog's Night Out, according to a recent report from The Star Press.

These are not the only times that Dog's Night Out is held, but people interested in animal adoption can definitely find fellow supporters at the event on April 26, from 6 to 9 p.m.

All of the money raised at each event will go to support the Animal Rescue Fund.

Dog's Night Out is held at Ritter's Frozen Custard near PetSmart and will include frozen treats as well as servings of vanilla frozen custard when one buys a Ritter's treat.

About 39 percent of American households own a dog, with 24 percent having at least two dogs, according to the Humane Society. About 9 percent of American homes have three or even more dogs. Animal rescue organizations can be found throughout the country for those interested in welcoming a pet into their homes.

The Animal Rescue Fund at Muncie is dedicated to caring for "abused, abandoned, neglected and unwanted animals" according to the group's official website.
