If there's one thing Beth Ostrosky Stern is known for, it's her shock-jock husband, Howard Stern. Still, the gorgeous model doesn't get enough credit for her animal rescue
The leggy lady and animal rights activist just finished her first book, Oh My Dog: How to Choose, Train, Groom, Nurture, Feed and Care for Your New Best Friend, and spoke with the Daily News about her inspiration for the reference manual.
"Automatically people turn to the Internet for answers. I was doing that for years, but every time I inquired about something, I would get 10 different answers," she told the news source.
The Sterns are parents to Bianca, an English Bulldog, and an animal rescue feline named Apple. Beth has also been the spokeswoman for the Port Washington chapter of the North Shore Animal League America (NSALA) for the last five years.
And now that she's dabbled in writing, Stern can't wait to begin working on - what else? - Oh My Cat.
"Now that I've done the research to better the life of my dog, I really want to dive right in and make my cat's life the longest and most comfortable it can be," she told the news outlet.
