Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba obviously knows how to foxtrot, but when the beautiful animal lover takes off her dancing shoes, her focus is on her felines.
Inaba and her live-in love, Jesse Sloan, appeared on the June 19 episode of Housecat Housecall, and spoke with The Toronto Star
right before it aired. The television personality is mom to cats Shadow, Taz and Squeaker, while Sloan has his babies Zeus and Mia.
"Zeus (who's eight) is very rambunctious and 19 pounds," Inaba told the news source. "Shadow is 19 and weighs six pounds. We thought Zeus was going to pounce all over Shadow."
Enter Karina Warren, veterinarian and host of the popular Animal Planet series. The expert helped Inaba and Sloan set up a schedule to keep the cats from fighting. She also eased the difficulty of maintaining five animals, some of whom have serious health problems.
"I just make the time. When you love somebody or something as I love my cats, you just find a way to do it," she told the news outlet.
Those who are looking to add a furry friend to their family should consider adopting a special needs animal. The kind act could save its life.
