One California kitty is getting a heap of well-deserved attention, the Los Angeles Times
According to the news source, a poor cat was discovered in a dryer in a Riverside building's laundry room. The animal's entire upper body was also bound in duct tape.
The cat, who is believed to be about 4-years-old, suffered a broken tooth an internal bleeding in one of its eyes, the news source reports. Because of this, authorities said they believe the machine was turned on with the feline inside.
"I can't imagine what this poor thing must have felt going through that ordeal," Eileen Sanders, a veterinary technician with the animal services department who cared for the cat, told the news outlet. "Whoever did this is going to move up and harm other animals - or maybe people."
Although the cat is expected to make a full recovery, officials are imploring the public to come forward with any leads. The courageous feline will be put up for adoption if no one claims her.
Those looking to add a furry friend to their family may want to consider heading to their nearest animal shelter. The act could save an animal's life.
