Some dogs surprise their owners with neat tricks, but a pooch's undiscovered talent wound up saving his life.
According to WFMZ News
, Donna Gardner brought along her 11-year-old Labrador retriever while running errands. When she returned home, she forgot her beloved pet was still in the car. With temperatures soaring, the pooch was in trouble.
It was about an hour later that Max got to work. Moving himself to the front seat, the clever canine used his paw to sound the horn.
"I came in and started cleaning and about an hour later I heard a horn blow," Gardner told the news source.
After being rushed to the veterinarian, Max has made a full recovery. Not so surprisingly, many people are still marveling over the dog's survival skills.
