She may have the voice of an angel, but it looks as though Lea Michele also has the heart of one. The star of Glee recently spoke with People Magazine
and couldn't stop gushing about her love for the four-legged creatures of the world.
"I'm a really big animal lover," Michele told the news outlet. "My mother always said, 'Stand for something, or [you'll] fall for everything.' I feel like [animals] don't have a voice."
Lea's inclination to help animals
is apparent even when she's on the job. In fact, the woman best known as Rachel Berry once saved six stray kittens which were wandering on the Paramount Studios lot.
"They probably would have been eaten, so I rescued them," she told the news source. She wound up giving three of the felines to the show's director, another to a cast mate, and kept two for herself.
Michele isn't the only celebrity who is speaking out in order to help animals find a loving home. In fact, Pamela Anderson recently lent her efforts and star power to aid displaced animals from the Gulf disaster.
