Grant helps Rescue Bank aid tornado victims

A $5,000 grant from GreaterGood.org went to Rescue Bank to help move food to Louisville, Kentucky.

Warehoused at No Kill Louisville, approximately 27,000 pounds of animal food was then distributed to the communities hit by the March 2 tornadoes.

Recue Bank also is a beneficiary of The Animal Rescue Site's "Click Here To Give" program. The organization helps local shelters and rescue groups across the country benefit from pet food donations by coordinating large scale movement of supplies as well as distribution.
