GreaterGood Kids launched at the end of 2013 as a new way to help children worldwide with a "Buy a Toy – Give a Toy" program. Now shoppers at Creative Kidstuff, a 31-year-old award-winning toy store based in Minnesota, and Sensational Beginnings, a 26-year-old Michigan-based online toy retailer, can donate a quality toy to a child in need with a purchase of more than $50. Both sites were added to the GreaterGood famliy this year.
"Each GreaterGood website exists because it supports an important cause that has an impact on society," said Tim Kunin, CEO of CharityUSA and GreaterGood. "Creative Kidstuff and Sensational Beginnings' motto, 'play is learning and learning is play,' is one we believe in. We are proud to be launching GreaterGood Kids as we look to have an even greater impact for children and families around the world."
"As part of the GreaterGood network, we now have the additional resources we need to continue growing as a toy retailer, but also to give to children in need in ways that never would have been possible," said Roberta Bonoff, CEO and President of GreaterGood Kids. "With the resources and support we're helping our customers and vendors make impactful things happen around the globe. We are thrilled to be a part of the GreaterGood Kid's creation and growth and can't wait to accomplish more together."
Since 1999, GreaterGood had contributed more than $30 million to charity through a network of websites that allow consumers to click, shop, and take action for their favorite causes.
