Helping animals in Haiti after the earthquake

Helping Dogs in HaitiThe International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and joined together to aid animals affected by the recent earthquake in Haiti. The cooperation between the two organizations is the latest example of a partnership that has delivered relief to vulnerable animals all over the world. contributed more than $230,000 to IFAW's work as part of the Animal Rescue Coalition for Haiti in the first quarter of 2010.

Through the Gifts That Give More (tm) program on The Animal Rescue Site and other GreaterGood Network websites, has been able to help IFAW with emergency rescue efforts following bushfires in Australia, earthquakes in China, and floods in the United States, among other projects.

“IFAW is truly grateful to and The Animal Rescue Site, which, over and over again, enables us to help animals in crisis around the world. It’s not an exaggeration to say that much of what we do would not be possible without the generosity of The Animal Rescue Site and its visitors,” said Ian Robinson, IFAW’s Director of Emergency Relief.
