It looks like a former Friend may be a real pal to four-legged creatures out there.
According to US Weekly, Jennifer Aniston, star of Marley and Me and a self-proclaimed dog lover, is now mom to an animal rescue
mutt. The pooch is rumored to be a cockapoo, a cross between a cocker spaniel and a poodle.
"She adopted because she fell in love with her acting coach's dog," a source told the news outlet.
Aniston reportedly took the adorable dog in from Saving Spot in Los Angeles, an animal rescue shelter
. The canine will join Norman, her beloved 15-year-old corgi-terrier mix, and Dolly, a four-year-old white shepherd.
The Bounty Hunter starlet may have decided to add another addition to her family since her elder pup is ailing.
"Norman has been Jennifer's constant companion during all her emotional upheavals, but he suffers from aching joints and stiffness," the source told the news provider.
Aniston isn't the first celebrity to show her soft spot for animal rescue dogs. In fact, PeoplePets.com reports that Katherine Heigl has admitted that she is looking to welcome a seventh adopted canine into her growing home.
