Making Memories helps terminally ill patients and their families

Becky and FamilyThe diagnosis of breast cancer impacts the entire family. After learning she had Inflammatory Stage IV Breast Cancer, an extremely aggressive form of breast cancer, 30-year-old Becky wanted to get her young sons and her husband away from hospital rooms and create some more positive memories.

Making Memories Breast Cancer Foundation helped her dream come true, sending the entire family to Disney World for a vacation last fall.

In her thank you note -- written in pink! -- this breast cancer fighter told them “With the medical bills and lost wages we could have never fit the expenses into our budget for an amazing vacation like this…It was nice to be able to forget about my illness and put the stress and sadness aside for a week of fun, relaxation and enjoyment. I loved seeing my kids’ faces light up…”

GreaterGood.org supports the Making Memories’ mission of “granting wishes, touching lives” through the Gifts That Give More [tm] program at The Breast Cancer Site store.
