For his participation in an illegal dog fighting ring, the notorious quarterback Michael Vick has spent 19 months in prison, two months in home confinement and missed out on millions of dollars in contracts and endorsements.
Would the animal rights activists who believe that Vick still hasn't paid his dues change their tune if the football star disrobed in the name of animal ethics?
Playgirl magazine has reportedly offered the controversial athlete $1 million to shed his clothing for the camera.
A spokesperson for the magazine told the Los Angeles Times, "I figured he paid back society for dog fighting, but what about the animals?"
The representative continued, "This way he could donate a large sum to PETA and all he'd have to do is pose for the magazine - it's kind of a win-win situation.
Since Vick was released from prison and reinstated in the National Football league, many believe the quarterback has accepted responsibility for his past treatment of animals.
Vick has been working with the U.S. Humane Society, speaking to children about the dangers and implication of dog fighting, USA Today reports.
