Precious pooches, and their feline friends, can now order a cappuccino while snacking on organic cupcakes and socializing with other animals while their owners read the morning newspaper.
Owner and head chef Naoko Okamoto decided to open Chew Chew after expanding her animal food business, where she was already cooking and making home deliveries to people.
"A lot of people have told me they've been waiting for a place where they can bring their dog in instead of having to leave it outside," she told the news source.
The establishment only feeds animals, but owners are encouraged to grab something to eat and bring it with them when they treat their pet to a nutritious and delicious meal.
Most of the food served at the restaurant contains organic meat and vegetables such as carrots and mushrooms.
Okamoto also offers advice on topics like nutrition and what animals should be eating to maintain a more balanced diet.
