Remote Area Medical provides more free services in 2010

In 2010, Remote Area Medical was able to provide free dental, vision, and medical care to more than  25,000 individuals, an increase of 26% compared to those seen in 2009, and veterinary care was delivered to nearly 1,500 animals, an increase of 34% over services provided in 2009, reported Stan Brock, Founder and Volunteer Director of Operations.

While 60% of RAM’s operations take place in the United States, they are continuing to expand their international expeditions as well. In 2011, RAM volunteers will travel to Guyana, South America, India, and Haiti to provide free medical services to those in need.
