The Animal Rescue Site and GreaterGood.org partner with Rover.com

Lisa Halstead, Executive Director of GreaterGood.org, announced today that The Animal Rescue Site and GreaterGood.org have been selected as Preferred Partners of Rover.com’s Sit a Dog, Save a Life [tm] program.

Sit a Dog, Save a Life™ enables participating Rover.com sitters, who can be identified by a badge on their Rover.com profile, to donate all or a portion of their pet-sitting proceeds to a pet-related charity.

“Creating innovative, easy-to-do actions to help rescued animals online is what we’ve been doing for the past decade,” said Halstead. “This is a great idea and a wonderful way for Rover.com to support rescued dogs.”

Rover.com helps consumers find local dog sitters as an affordable, cage-free alternative to traditional kennels. Started in Seattle, WA, in 2011, Rover.com is already established in more than 800 cities.

“We are excited to welcome GreaterGood.org into the Sit a Dog, Save a Life™ program. Our shared passion for the welfare of dogs makes this a perfect match," said Aaron Easterly, CEO of Rover.com.
