The estate of Sam Goldman has named The Wild Animal Sanctuary as a beneficiary, according to a new report from Cat Channel.
Pat Craig, the executive director of The Wild Animal Sanctuary praised Goldman for the care and love that he had for animals.
"We commend Sam Goldman for wanting to help the animals he cared for so much," Craig told the news source. "It is the remarkable generosity of people like Mr. Goldman that allows us to continue our mission."
The Wild Animal Sanctuary cares for lions and tigers, among other animals. According to its website, it is the "premier sanctuary for large carnivores" in the country.
The Sanctuary is located in a 320-acre facility and works to help animal rescue
efforts for big cats. Among the various species who live on the sanctuary are foxes, coyotes, camels, wolves, mountain lions, grizzly bears, black bears and bobcats.
