Baby showers often bring in gifts, but we have a feeling one Wisconsin mama wasn't able to register for hers.
According to the Racine Post, The Racine Zoo is planning a shower for Elsa the Lion, who gave birth to two adorable cubs on March 16. The festivities will be held this Saturday - that is, if the protective mother can leave her bundle of joys alone.
"We hope that Elsa cooperates with our plan. We know the public is anxious to meet the Pride of Racine," Jay Christie, president of the Zoo, told the news outlet.
The zoo is planning on revealing the names of the little lions at the event, which which will feature games, food and activities for children. However, patrons are being asked to take it easy.
"We will have extra staff to remind spectators to be quiet as the noise associated with the crowd could make her tentative" Christie said.
According to WorldStory.net, female lions are in gestation for about 110 days, and usually give birth to between one and five cubs.
