In an incredible feat of canine heroism, today's Dog of the Day saved a fourteen-month boy from drowning in the most amazing way! When the toddler, Stanley, fell into the backyard in-ground pool, Bear (a black Labrador) dove in for the rescue. By balancing Stanley on his back, Bear was able to keep the child's head from going underwater until help arrived -- which ultimately saved Stanley's life.
