The Remainder

I'd been scoping out shelter kittens, and had contacted a foster family when I got the call. They told me that if I didn't want her, they'd give her to a shelter.

This one had fallen through the floor and gotten lodged inside the wall. Days went by before they finally pinpointed her small voice …

The Slaughter And Consumption Of Dogs And Cats Must End In The USA

The butchering of dogs for meat is not a problem solely found overseas. In the United States, 44 states allow dogs to be raised and sold for meat.Due to unclear and porous state laws, it is legal to sell and consume dog and cat meat, and also legal to raise them for that purpose.

This practice cannot continue! Urge the FDA to put a stop to this practice by recognizing the raising and consumption of household pets as animal cruelty!

Help House Abandoned Farm Animals!

The Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary will honor the memory of Catherine Violet Hubbard, one of the first graders lost in the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, CT on December 14, 2012. Catherine is remembered for her beautiful smile, compassionate spirit, and love of all creatures. The sanctuary will fulfill an innocent and pure dream of a child who would whisper to every animal, "Tell all your friends that I am kind." In the next 20 years, it is estimated that more farmland will go up for sale than ever in Connecticut's history, a transition that will displace hundreds of animals. The Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary will not be a working farm, but a safe haven for those animals in need, providing them with a home where the can live the remainder of their days in a peaceful community.

A Dog And His Humans Sing In The Car And I'm Blown Away! Is This Pup For Real?!

I was scrolling through my Facebook feed, and this came up. Normally, I get excited about animal videos because I love my job and I love animals but this -- THIS WAS DIFFERENT! I cannot believe that this dog is not a human. He's outrageous but in a good way (OF COURSE!). He is so into singing with his car buddies that it's almost like he is human himself.
