My grandparents took me to the Pinal County Animal Care & Control where I had seen a litter of Miniature Pincher/Shih Tzu mix puppies on Petfinder. We took out one, but she was very shy, running away from us and hiding. The next one we took out was named Wire. She was a beautiful chocolate color with red markings. She had enough Shih Tzu in her so that she didn't shed and my grandparents and I immediately fell in love. I had met perfect puppies for my family before but couldn't make up my mind quickly and we left and came back and they were gone, so I said to myself this time, "I can't loose another perfect puppy!" and we adopted her. When my grandparents were helping me fill out all of the papers, one of the workers said that we had said, "yes" just in time because someone else just got there wanting to see her. When we brought her home, my family's beagle, Pok-a-dot, wasn't that happy to see her. My sister and my parents fell in love with her immediately too. Pokey still isn't too sure about this thing following her around, but they're getting better. We renamed "Wire" Cookie. I'm so glad that I finally said, "Yes" to the puppy!
