When I read the story of Mya, it reminded me of Bynx. My daughter brought this adorable adult male cat home, Feb 2012,from a place in Providence, RI. He, like Mya, had the seepage from one of his eyes. He also had a hurt paw, thin, and looked abused on the left side of his face. The pic I've posted is what he looked like, when we took him in.We didn't know if he'd been kicked or what, but what a mess, the poor guy. Because we had 2 female cats, I was a bit reluctant to take him in. My daughter's friends said that one of them would take him as soon as they could. Well, I kept checking with each of them, and neither of them could take him in...teens...surprise, surprise..not! They shared the story with me of the guy at the arena in Providence telling them that the cat hung there all the time, and no one knew where he belonged. Anyway, I happened to become attached to him, daughter named him Bynx (we didn't know his name, but he seemed to like that one). We/I got him well, fed, and he flourished into a very healthy male. He was so lovable to begin with, and even after posting him as "found", no one claimed him. I sadly just had to find him a new home, because of the nasty owner of this complex (who, by the way said that animals "are" allowed). Now I wonder what condition Bynx is in, I don't remember the name of the couple who took him in. I know the owners of the other "4" cats, but not our Bynxy. He's missed greatly, so I might post him back on craigslist to see if we can get him back.
