Mocha the Siamese !

Last October my siamese cat named Max passed away suddenly. It broke my heart, I really thought I could not live without him and I really did not want to take a chance on another cat. As it turned out I was really lonely and missing a companion. Nobody to go home to, as I am single. So I started viewing sites with baby siamese cats. I also looked on rescue sites since I wanted a siamese male. I drove two hours away from my home to see a male siamese in a rescue shelter, but he was not for me. I was crest fallen. Then I got a e mail from a lady that had fostered a young siamese male, he had been dumped in someones back yard. Two foster homes later and a very unhappy stay at a Petsmart, no adoption. He would hiss at people looking, so the lady who e mailed me took him home and put him in a bedroom since he does not like other kitties. I took a chance and drove two hours to see him. He was curious and floored us that hr got up on my lap, I could tell he badly needed a home and he was not eating like he should. Ofcourse I took him, I had a month to decide if he was a keeper. The first twenty four hours he hid under my bed, but then a miracle! He came out, ate, used the litter box and then got up on my lap! I was crying, he needed me as bad as I needed him. He had his very first toys, and was in heaven. He is everything I had hoped he would be. Hes very protective of me, plays like crazy, drops mousies on my head when I am bed at night, very loving and so vocal that its crazy. Hes gained weight and his whiskers came back in and his coat is perfect. He has my heart thats for sure. I think he had me at "hello" ! mocha is the best chance I have ever taken!
