My life changed forever

It was a typical horse show for me just going along my way. I went out to get some lunch and a lady was walking a pretty cute dashound and said she was from a rescue. I never knew there was a rescue there, and I've going been going there my whole life. I walked in to see if she was up for adoption and she was not. So I went up to the dog room not knowing what I would find. There he was a white westie, hardly no fur, and a skinny little one, but when our eyes met I knew I had to take him home with me. I asked to take him out and see him, the lady was like sure. They said he was not good with dogs, potty trained, or even good with people (he didn't trust them). At the horse show I thought it was not far to have him there so I waited and waited and couldn't get him out of my mind. I went back early and got him. I told them I'm here for Willy Pi Pi and I want him so bad is he still here. They didn't know so I went up to the room. My heart was broken he was not in his cage, then the guy came over I was crying because he was gone. He said oh he's just on a walk he's all yours, come full out the paper work and by the time he is back he's all yours. I cried even more I knew he was the one.

It's been a year and a bit now since I found my best friend. He is the best dog in the world, he's great with people kids, dogs, and is even a therapy dog now also child tested and passed. He also even wakes me up at night when my blood sugar is low. I never knew what I was walking into but fair was there for us to find eachother. He's the best thing that has ever happened to me.
