One look at his picture and it was love at first sight, I just had to have him! Unfortunately his story was one of abuse. We were told his “dog mom” attacked him, resulting in the loss of his right eye at just 6 months old. However, he’s never been afraid of other dogs. He is however very skeptical of people, especially men so I am convinced this happened at the result of abuse through a man’s hands. He is a trooper, and my protector. Never have I had a dog be so protective of me. I must say that I am equally protective of him. His name is Wilson and he can catch a ball like no other dog I have seen! Once he warms up to you he is the biggest lover and cuddle bug you’d ever meet. He’s not our first rescue, but I would say he’s been the most special. He'll never again know what abuse is, only love. I would do anything for him and wouldn’t trade him for the world.
