This is Seeley's intake photo at the extremely high kill shelter Devore in San Bernardino, California on May 31, 2013. She was a stray, picked up by AC in a field along with her 2 sisters. I have been told her mama was probably a street dog. On intake, the shelter named her "Dove". This is the photo that started it all...she stole my heart and I felt so compelled to rescue her from the moment I saw her. Through the wonderful world of Facebook, I have almost 2,300 friends, most of which are animal advocates and through networking I was able to find someone to go in and "pull" her to safety. From there she went to boarding for a few days until transport left to Montana. She is my heart and I love her so much.
