Princess

We were looking for a dog to keep our lab company, so we went to our local animal shelter. There standing at the front of the cage was a skinny white dog.You could see every bone in her body.We found out that they found her running in our local desert. How anything could survive in our extreme heat with temperatures in excess of 115 degrees no one knows.I am sure she had to run from coyotes and other prey.
But, here she was wagging her tail and begging for us to take her.I think she was passed up for adoption because she was so skinny. They took her out of her cage and took her to a fenced area so she could meet our lab. They hit it off so we took her home.My granddaughter named her Princess.
She is a wonderful dog and her and our lab swim and run the beach every weekend and whenever we can take them during the week..When she wants him to play she will tug on his tail and the chase begins. When we have thunder and lightining she will stay close to him,her big brother.
We are so glad we got her and highly recommend rescue dogs, they are the most loving animals.
