Sebastian the Therapist

His name is Sebastian. I wasn't planning on getting a cat the day I walked into PetSmart, but there he was. HALO was there to find him a forever home. He was from a feral litter. He came right to me in the cage and reached out. I was in a lot of pain that day. I stood there with him and he cried at me and I touched his paw. He is a mixture of Siamese, that cry is unmistakable. I tried to walk away, but he kept screaming. We did our shopping and came back. He grabbed me again. I couldn't resist this time. I asked to hold him. No one had been able to hold any of the little. He clung to my neck, wrapping his paws around it and purred. The more he purred, the better I felt. Yes, you guessed it. I took the cat home.

The first night and every night since he wraps his arms around my neck and purrs. He knows when I am in pain, or when I'm about to have a seizure. He is right there...crying, well screaming at me till I say his name, then he wraps his arms around my neck, purrs and kneads.

I really don't know what I would have done without him over the past 8 years. I'm alone alot and his screams have saved me from blacking out.

Congratulations Sebastian!

His name he got from "Family Affair" the Butler played by Sebastian Cabot.
