I adopted Simba and Nala, a brother and sister pair, 5 years ago from the Golden Retriever Resue of Los Angeles. They spent their first two years of life having their basic needs taken care of, but not cared for and loved the way they so deserve. They lived outdoors, and didn't even know how to climb a set of stairs. In the last 5 years I have done my best to make up for their first two. They are loved and spoiled rotten, and now sail up the stairs inside, scaring the cat mind you, and enjoy all the comforts of home...indoors, where family should be! This picture was taken by their vet, who just couldn't get over how cute these two looked waiting for me to pick them up after their visit!
