The Tale of my Baby Boo

There are no words to describe the love I have for this wonderful creature who brought me so much joy and love.

BooBoo Kitty came into my life in August of 2005 when my mom brought him home from work with her. He had wondered into the car dealership where she worked, it was storming outside and he was only a few months old, so he was scared. We bonded instantly. I wasn't to fond of his name that was given to him by the people at my mom's work. "BooBoo Kitty" So i called him Baby Boo. He followed me everywhere, constantly hiding in dark places waiting for me to walk by so he could jump out at me. He was the only cat that I knew of that played fetch.

As the years past we were almost inseparable... I went outside he followed. He was leash trained so we'd go for walks, but he also enjoyed his freedom outside without the leash. Everyone in my neighborhood loved him. He was the friendliest and most protective cat I knew. If my cat didn't like you then I trusted him.

My mom told me that the week I was in the hospital having surgery my Baby Boo was miserable. He kept looking for me and would just lay around not doing anything when he couldn't find me. When I came home he would follow me everywhere... I couldn't go to the bathroom without him. He would also just lay on my bed and stare at me until I got back into bed. He also looked out for my mom. He would do everything he could to wake her up when she would stop breathing in her sleep.

Needless to say he is very much missed. I lost my baby September 2009. He was enjoying his day outside when he was hit by a car. A neighbor found him the next day. I cried for weeks and still cry to this day when I think about him.

Baby boo I love and miss you!
