My wife and I had a tough few years and we separated, divorced, at the time I was living out of state,

things took a turn for the worse ; I lost my job, wound up living in my truck, a shelter for a bit, then was told I was to be relocated to a different shelter, in the worst part of NJ you could imagine, meantime my now ex hired me to look after the yard, property as I built it , she's not a mean person, so a fellow shelter friend slipped and said ;how was it living on the road again,oh boy..embarrassing. The ex immediately had my friend and I go to my storage unit and move back into the house and gave me the spare room. Its awkward, but we managed. and still do two years later. One night, I felt odd, our cat of 19 years ,was odd and was sleeping under a rattan sofa, so I crawled under the sofa with it on my back ( i have permanent spinal dmg) and she died sleeping in my arm.I saw a img of a calico on the humane soc fb page and fell in love, she was in a far off area ,some force drew usI to a pet smart locally one day, and their she was! I wanted her out of there ,and than we saw this funny ,l silver tabby playing with any and everything...yup we took her too. These kittens brought life into our lives,we live in an area ravaged by super storm sandy, and have had a man and his 125lb Rottweiler living here (they lost there home in the storm) and another friend displaced. kittens went 19 days powerlessr, only a fireplace for heat ,3 power losses, three snowstorms, and have been the light of everyone's day.I am working again , my ex and I are better friends now , her bf and dog like cats now, My business is picking up, all the models that come to studio all want to meet Amber and Jade.
