Supermarket kitty

It all started with me going to the store by our house to get some food. I see this kitty just sitting near the ATM stand outside of the store just so it could be next to people. I kneel down to take a picture and all of a sudden the cat just pops up on my lap and starts purring. I call my wife to get dressed to come quick and help me. So I am outside waiting, cat on my lap. Wife comes over and calls her mom to take us to the vet. At first we were waiting outside the store but then the kitty starts to shiver, mind you it was really cold outside. So we decide to take the cat home until wife's mom comes over to take us to the vet so we can check if there is anything wrong with the cat. We arrive at the vet. After waiting for the vet to be done with the checkup. The vet says the cat is healthy and has been fixed and only problem was that the kitty was very skinny. I have no idea how long he was homeless since we just moved to the new apartment. Apparently kitty had a previous owner, either he ran away or was thrown out (it happens here quite often). The vet tells us it's okay to take the cat home but it has no name (no tags, no chip) for the paper work to be filled out. So I had the privilege of naming the kitty, Oskar.

Now Oskar is happy and healthy, loves to sleep next to us, loves being on laps. Enjoys eating cheese and yogurt.
