Look like a world traveler wherever you go with an accessory that's truly wearable art!
In Ukambani, a semi-arid region in the Eastern Province of Kenya, women earn their living mostly by weaving baskets using sisal as a raw material. Sisal is a natural fiber (Agave Sisalana) that grows wildly in the region. The sisal leaves, which regrow quickly, are plucked, crushed, and twinned using traditional skills. Baskets and other accessories are then woven by hand.
