February 8, 2015 - These are lovely earrings - the colours in them is bright and happy - love them. Thanks

February 3, 2015 - Like one of the other reviewers, I too had bought these earrings before and lost one of them. I did not expect the new ones to match the one I already had--but I did expect the two new ones to be the same color. One is green and the other gold, and one is noticeably smaller than the other if they are held side by side. Of course, no one will ever see them side by side. Don't know yet whether I'm going to keep them . . . .

Customer Service response:
February 26, 2015 - We're sorry to hear that this product did not meet your expectations. Please contact our customer service department for a refund or exchange.

January 10, 2015 - I love these earrings. They are even prettier than I expected. I not only received a lovely pair of earrings but more importantly, 28 bowls of food were funded. You can't beat that. :D

October 1, 2014 - I too am disappointed with my earrings. I don't have the blue shown here but rather a gold color and I had to literally use a magnifying glass to see the image of a tree. I will keep them but I think there needs to be a disclaimer in capital letters that the earrings a person receives may vary greatly from the ones shown here.

September 11, 2014 - nice idea for earrings, but it did not deliver all that i hoped. i was aware that the colors might be different, and they certainly were. i also ordered the pendant, and it is completely different colors than the earrings, so they don't quite match. the big problem for me, is that the tree design does not show up as well as it is pictured; it gets kind of lost in all the sparkles. the earrings are a nice size, but i don't think it was worth the price, even on sale. if they could just show samples of other possible colors it might turn out, it would help people.

Artisan DichroDreams

In 2003 Johana Vazques was a single mom in Guadalajara struggling to support five children on her own when she heard about Dichrodreams -- a local enterprise which taught locals the art of dichroic glassmaking. Johana entered the training program and was soon making beautiful jewelry. She began earning a living wage, and her family's future changed forever.

Johana puts it this way: "Through my hard and skilled work I have been able to give food, shelter, education, and medical attention to my five kids. Two of the older ones now work in the company. It has been a world of opportunities for all of us."

Iridescent dichroic glass is made by combining crystal and metal at high heat, an art form that originated in ancient Rome. The artisans of Dichrodreams took the craft a step further by incorporating sterling silver into the mix in 1999, experimenting with new techniques. The result is an exceptional work of art. Today Dichrodreams jewelry is sold in 55 countries, making it a leader in the dichroic glass and silver jewelry industry.
