Artisan: John Barrow

Artisan John Barrow

John Barrow: Born in London, John traveled to Peru, in 1969. His original work contract was for eight weeks, but he ended up staying. John has always enjoyed woodwork; he learned the craft from his father. "Living in Peru, I got to know a variety of beautiful wood types," John explains. "When I retired, I was finally able to dedicate myself completely to my passion, carving! I have designed my own machines and tools to help me work the wood in a different way."
