August 30, 2014 - Definitely comfy and soft! I like the reversible option, but just so you know I'm pretty sure when you flip to the black there's a strip of color on the bottom--which it doesn't show here--so just be aware. It's still summer where I am so I don't know how long it will last but it seems like good material! Also for a great cause :)

Artisan: Jalsu Uma

Artisan Jalsu Uma Founded in 2001, Jalsu Uma focuses on training women in the production of accessories made from alpaca wool. Started by five women, the cooperative now includes more than 20 who are trained in techniques such as hand looming, weaving, and crocheting. Artisans have the option to work from home to care for their children and meet weekly for production matters. Jalsu Uma strives for expansion, providing more women with the opportunity to financially support themselves and their families, innovating new designs, and becoming a leader in Bolivian handicrafts.
