November 4, 2014 - I like the handle, especially while dealing with a cat who hates being brushed. We have a Furminator for our long-haired Siberian. I wanted to try this one to see if she if she would tolerate it better. She seems to so I do use it, however it does nothing if you want to remove loose hair. This could be my mistake because maybe that's not what a slicker brush is for. So overall, disappointed because even though our cat doesn't hate it as much, it's pointless for removing loose fur.
Customer Service response:February 20, 2015 - Slicker brushes are primarily of use to smooth out matted pet hair, but generally ill suited to removing the loose fur. For that, a bristle-style brush is the best way to finish out grooming.
June 7, 2013 - I love these brushes and most important my dog loves to be brushed. It was always a fight to brush her but not anymore.
January 19, 2013 - To be fair, I'm trying to find a brush my cat will like. She doesn't hate this one...we're up to 1.5 minutes before she runs away ;-)
