I got this for an adult friend who is religious. For the last 5 years at X-Mas, she would by me a child's advent calendar for fun and she knew I liked the chocolates inside and liked to watch me at work open a window and pop a chocolate out. I decided to get her the Nativity Scene Advent as that is her favorite scene during the holidays.The addition of the scriptures behind each day counting down to the 25th was different and didn't involve candy, which she can't consume anyway. The advent is packaged nicely and is flat due to no candy being inside. The colors are beautiful it does have a pretty glitter on it. The Nativity Scene is serene and beautiful for the holidays. I would buy the product again for future gifts and folks of all ages. I would make sure the person receiving the gift is religious due to the Bible test and scriptures behind each door.
