Outlet! Was $49.95!

The interplay of purple polyurethane against the industrial chic of black rubber makes for a paws-down winning combination. And since it's made with rubber recycled from tire tubes, this tote-style purse sends a powerful message that eco-conscious can also be beautiful.

  • Made from recycled inner-tubes
  • Spacious interior compartment
  • Sturdy nylon webbing straps with PU accents
  • Custom Animal Rescue Site embossed label
  • 14" T x 14" W x 1.5" D (35.5 x 35.5 x 3.8 cm)
  • Handmade in & fairly traded from El Salvador

Due to their recycled nature, no two bags are alike. Though general outline and measurements of bag are consistent, patterns on rubber will vary.

April 16, 2014 - LOVE this bag except for me personally, I really wish the purple straps were black on the outside & the purple was on the inside strap for a peek of color, just like the peek of purple on the paw cut out. The purple straps are a bit too bright & much for my taste, BUT I love the bag & love that it is using recycled tires!!

Artisan Uca Ruffatti

With over twenty years of design experience, Uca Ruffatti in El Salvador combines high-quality chic with eco-friendliness. Uca Ruffatti uses new and recycled materials creatively to achieve original, functional and modern designs.

Owner Maria de los Angeles de Ruffatti explains, "We started small but with big dreams, now we have had so many buyers interested in our products that we plan to double production by year's end. This means more employees, more machines and also new materials, new markets, new possibilities. Our dreams have come through and have gone beyond our expectations. Not only are we working with Natural or Recycled materials but we also have the opportunity to help the artisans here in the town of Santa Ana. We are helping a couple of communities by working directly with them, training their young men and women with new skills. That way entire families become involved and work harder to achieve a greater future for all."
