With wide-eyed charm, a sleek green frog chirps in the Mexican rain forest. Alejandro de Esesarte creates the charming image as a wall-mounted sculpture. He shapes the whimsical creature by hand and hammers the piece into low relief.

Because each piece is individually hand-crafted and painted, size and color could vary slightly. Made in Mexico.

March 25, 2014 - Very well made. Larger than appears in ad but a nice wall art size. Packaging was done extremely well, no dents or scratches in the painting. Arrived later than originally scheduled so plan early.

December 15, 2013 - Brought this as a gift for a frog loving friend. She loved it so much she hung it indoors not out so she could see it more often :) Came with a lovely note. Thank you

Artisan: Alejandro de Esesarte

Artisan Alejandro de Esesarte 'From the time I was a boy, I was attracted to art,' recalls Alejandro de Esesarte. 'When I was 20, I became an ecologist and defender of nature, and this is when I began to create animals in metal. My technique is similar to cutout metal, but more rudimentary. From this, I became inspired and started working in metal for its versatility. Today I have a workshop, a cockatoo named Coco and a cactus collection. Those are all the tools I need to continue working.'
