Discarded Dogs Need Your Help
Provide food and medical treatment to dogs living in monasteries and temples in Thailand.
In Thailand, thousands of unwanted dogs are abandoned at Buddhist temples and monasteries every year. Many are puppies born from pet dogs and were never spayed. Some temples have dozens of dogs. The monks are willing to take care of the dogs but can't afford the veterinary care or dog food they need.
Soi Dog Foundation and their network of dozens of volunteers feed and care for hundreds of homeless dogs who have been abandoned at Buddhist monasteries and temples. Soi Dog provides veterinary treatment to sick and injured temple dogs and vaccinates the dogs to protect them from rabies and other diseases. All temple dogs are spayed and neutered to prevent more litters.
You can help. Just $8.00 helps provide care and feeding for a temple dog for one month.
Soi Dog Foundation is dedicated to reducing the suffering of sick, injured, and abused cats and dogs in Thailand. The organization spays and neuters animals, gives free veterinary care, shelters dogs and cats who are victims of cruelty and abuse, and educates people about animal welfare.
