From no Dogs to 3 Dogs

My sister really wanted a dog and had been asking since the 5th grade and begging my parents for one since then. My sister is now a sophomore in college. She decided to make a contract saying she will do everything from feeding, bathing, and cleaning up after the dog. My parents were not giving in nor interested in getting a dog. She continued to ask and beg every day for the next 2 years. Finally my mom said okay we will go down to Petsmart and see if they are having an adoption. My mom, sister and I hopped in the car and looked around at Petsmart. We saw this really cute laid back black lab puppy. My mom said we would have to see and ask our dad. So we put the puppy on hold and went back home to pick up my dad so he could see it. He was still opposed after seeing the dog, but after a few minutes talking about it he finally gave in. The dog was a rescue and found alongside a road. We got the dog and dog supplies. A year later we decided to get a second dog. A year after getting the second, we got a third. They are all spoiled little things. We cannot say no to them and give them treats every hour past the hour. They play together and get along great. My dad says he loves the first dog the best and then the second and then the third he doesn't like. Secretly, after giving kisses to all three dogs every day and cuddles he loves them all and won't admit it. I can't imagine my life without them now.
